At the ASO, we are advocates for integrating music in education and believe this starts with empowering you first. Our Professional Learning opportunities are designed to enrich and elevate the classroom experience and equip you with the tools and resources to effectively teach concert material.

Our Professional Learning program is designed to enrich and elevate the classroom experience and equip you with the tools and resources to effectively teach concert material.
How does it work?
Held at Grainger Studio, Professional Learning sessions are aimed at empowering you with the knowledge and resources prior to your students or school engaging with the ASO at your booked performance. Each session is run by our expert presenters who will guide you through the performance highlights, educational content, and participatory activities. You’ll receive a comprehensive resource kit packed with cross-curricular activities. We provide the necessary materials to ensure your lessons are not only engaging but also meaningful and aligned seamlessly with the concert material.
At the completion of the session, each teacher receives a Professional Learning Certificate as proof of your commitment to innovative teaching methods.
Our Professional Learning sessions are highly recommended for a least one teacher per Learning Event.
Incursion Programs Free for up to two teachers per school booking. $50 per additional teacher
